Tasting bar. Boom! What a lovely wine, silky, super smooth and well balanced, floral nose and citrusy taste, buttery aftertaste. Crazy good, crazy expensive though.
BA first class treat
Ethereal; elegant and nostalgic but ungrounded. Beautiful notes of pastry, butter and low acidity lemon but lacks the distinction required for a £40 Côte de Beaune
Creamy, buttery and toasty! Amazing Montrachet with enough smoky oak to keep its boldness. Notes of lemon zest and green apple with enough acidity to maintain its structure. Well balanced! Compliment well with scallop & shrimp scampi linguine.
Slightly oaky nose. Lots of delicatefruit (pear, light grapefruit) on the palate giving way to light creamy oak with sone smokiness in the finish. Quite delicate for an oaked Burgundy. Excellent.
